In the actual operation of the engine, the belt preload and the attachment of a small belt pulley angle make great impact for the belt transmission capacity, life and axial pressure. If the pretightening force is not enough, the small pulley wrapped angle is small, the ability to transmit load is reduced, this will cause the efficiency lower, the small pulley rapid fever and tape wear serious. If the preload is too large, it will reduce the belt life, and the load on the axle and bearing will increase, causing the bearing heat and wear serious, moreover, the V-belts are not completely elastic body, under the preload force, after a period of operation, due to the the plastic deformation, this will make the preload reducing, resulting transmission capacity decline, causing belt slippage even off. Therefore, increasing the tension pulley mechanism is the best way to solve the above phenomenon.
